buying tickets

The University is located in Zone 1 and passengers are required to purchase and validate their ticket while traveling on the tram. If you have not pre-purchased a ticket, make sure that you have change with you as ticket machines do not accept notes.

As a university student, you have the option to purchase a Tertiary Student Concession Card. Carry the concession card with you whenever you are using public transport with a concession ticket, as ticket inspectors have the right to fine you if you purchase a concession ticket but do not have a concession card.

Unfortunately, international students are not entitled to purchase a Tertiary Student Concession Card.
