2008 grant successes

Australian Research Council (ARC) and
National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) grants

Funding is to commence in 2008.

Melbourne Engineering is celebrating an extremely successful outcome in the recent awards of ARC and NHMRC grants commencing in 2008. We achieved a high success rate of 33% of applications submitted, well above last year's figure and above the University as a whole. We were awarded more than $12million. Congratulations to all those people listed below.

ARC Discovery

  • Dr James Bailey and Professor G Dong Comparative Analysis and exploration of collections of data clusterings (3 year project of $215,000 total funding from the ARC)
