School leavers - To become an accredited Engineer
Bachelor of Science / Master of Engineering (five years): the most flexible option, the Bachelor of Science gives students a greater scientific context for their engineering studies.
Bachelor of Commerce / Master of Engineering (five + years): the power combination of business skills and engineering analytical and problem solving skills.
Bachelor of Environments / Master of Engineering (five years): for students with skills and interests in design, construction and/or environmental engineering and sustainability.
Bachelor of Biomedicine / Master of Engineering (five years): the pathway to the challenging field of biomedical engineering, which combines areas of science, medicine and mathematics.
Bachelor of Engineering (four years): for students committed to engineering and who want to complete their studies in four years. This option is available to currrent (2009) Yr 12 students only
All options lead to professional accreditation with Engineers Australia, the Institution of Engineers.

Some Engineering studies in undergraduate degree - To become an accredited Engineer
- Professional Master of Engineering A Master of Engineering will be available to graduates from other institutions, or to graduates who have not completed an engineering systems major or sequence in the University of Melbourne's Bachelor degrees. The three-year program allows for partial credits evaluated on a case-by-case basis at time of application. Commencing in 2010, the MEng is the first suite of Masters in Australia to provide graduates with professional accreditation* as an engineer, in Australia and internationally.

How to study engineering for Graduates
Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering
The Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering is used to qualify students for further graduate study in a related area to their previous Engineering degree and to provide foundation studies for students who have an Engineering degree and who want to expand or update their knowledge. It is particularly useful for students returning to tertiary study after time away from an academic environment.
