The Master of Engineering with Business allows you to combine technical engineering knowledge in one of six specialisations (Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Software) with the business and management skills to help fast-track your career.

You will undertake business subjects co-developed with Melbourne Business School that have been tailored specifically for engineering students, and be empowered with the technical skills and the fundamental business skills to understand the management and workings of a broad range of modern organisations.

How to study Engineering with Business

To become a professionally accredited engineer, you will complete five years of study.

You start with either a Bachelor of Biomedicine, a Bachelor of Design or a Bachelor of Science with an engineering major. This is followed by a two-year Master of Engineering with an Engineering with Business specialisation.

A longer Master of Engineering program, of up to three-years duration is available for students who have not completed the preliminary engineering subjects required in their undergraduate degree, but who meet the maths and science entry requirements.
