The campaign

Through ‘Believe: The Campaign for the University of Melbourne’, the Melbourne School of Engineering can better attract brilliant minds that will find engineering and IT solutions for this and future generations. We aim to continue being Australia’s leading engineering school and encourage high achieving students from around the globe to study with us.

The support of our generous donors is deeply appreciated and makes a tremendous difference to the lives of our students, our research and the wider School. Philanthropy has greatly contributed and will continue to contribute to our success in many ways, including opportunities to provide scholarships, research support, student prizes endowed professorships and fellowships.

The highest priority of the 2016 Annual Appeal is securing more support for scholarships, with a particular focus on women undertaking studies in Engineering and IT. Without such support, personal circumstances prevent many talented and deserving students from pursuing their academic goals.

Whether you are an alumni of the University who wishes to give back, a friend in the community or an entire organisation who would like to engage with Australia’s leading engineering school, we welcome your interest in making a gift and encourage you to contact us to discuss how your kindness will have the greatest impact. Opportunities for monthly or annual contributions are also available.
