Departments
There are six academic departments in the Melbourne School of Engineering.
Biomedical Engineering is taught across five departments and administered by the Melbourne School of Engineering. Research and teaching in the six departments are augmented by many research groups, centres and CRCs - see the full listing. See the Melbourne Engineering Research Institute (MERIT) website. MERIT focuses research efforts on engineering for the benefit of society in four themes.
