this form must be fully completed
and returned immediately to the Melbourne School of Engineering within
5 days of your leave expiry date. If we do not
receive this form your Masters (Research) candidature
and/or your scholarship/award will be terminated
- Leave to Study Overseas/Away
if
you are a Masters (Research) candidate and are seeking
leave to study away from the university; please
note: all applications for leave to study overseas/away
must be accompanied by a completed 'Risk Assessment

if
you are a Masters (research) student you are required
to complete a progress report when you are:
- 12 months into candidature (Full Time Students)
- 24 months into candidature (Part Time Students)
- Notice
of Intention to Submit (Masters by Research)
three months
prior to the submission date of the thesis, candidates
are required to submit this form and an 80-word
summary of the thesis to the Melbourne School of Engineering; candidates
must discuss the time-frame for thesis submission
with their supervisor prior to submitting this
summary; the summary activates the process of nominating
potential examiners for the thesis

of Masters (By Research) Thesis

be submitted with three copies of the thesis to
the Melbourne School of Engineering
