Current students

  • Course Change Notification (domestic applicants only)
    If you are a current graduate enrolled in the Melbourne School of Engineering at the University of Melbourne requesting for course change.
  • Award Declaration
    Use to authorise the Melbourne School of Engineering to award a qualification.
  • Credit/Exemption Application
    If you are seeking credit or exemption for subjects(s) in the Melbourne School of Engineering at the University of Melbourne
  • Progression Application
    If you wish to be considered for progression into a higher qualification, eg. Graduate Diploma to Masters
  • Request for approval to add a subject not on the course list
    If you wish to take a subject from another Department or Faculty
  • Variation to Enrolment
    If you are a graduate student wishing to vary your enrolment, eg. Leave of Absence, Recommencement, Discontinuation etc.
  • Change of Supervisor(s)
    if you are a Masters (Research) candidate requesting a change of supervisor(s)
  • Extension to Candidature and/or Scholarship Application
    if you are a Masters (Research) candidate requesting an extension on the maximum completion date and/or extension to scholarship/award
  • Leave of Absence from Masters (Research)
    this form is for completion by Masters (Research) candidates requesting suspension of scholarship or award payments and/or leave of absence from candidature
  • Advice of Return from Leave
    this form must be fully completed and returned immediately to the Melbourne School of Engineering within 5 days of your leave expiry date. If we do not receive this form your Masters (Research) candidature and/or your scholarship/award will be terminated
  • Leave to Study Overseas/Away
    if you are a Masters (Research) candidate and are seeking leave to study away from the university; please note: all applications for leave to study overseas/away must be accompanied by a completed 'Risk Assessment -2D Model' risk assessment form
  • Progress Report Form
    if you are a Masters (research) student you are required to complete a progress report when you are:
    • 12 months into candidature (Full Time Students)
    • 24 months into candidature (Part Time Students)
  • Notice of Intention to Submit (Masters by Research)
    three months prior to the submission date of the thesis, candidates are required to submit this form and an 80-word summary of the thesis to the Melbourne School of Engineering; candidates must discuss the time-frame for thesis submission with their supervisor prior to submitting this summary; the summary activates the process of nominating potential examiners for the thesis
  • Submission of Masters (By Research) Thesis
    these forms should be submitted with three copies of the thesis to the Melbourne School of Engineering
