Melbourne School of Engineering

Expression of Interest

Admissions for Research Degress (Masters and PhD) in the Melbourne School of Engineering

Before submitting an application to the Melbourne School of Engineering (MSE), potential students are encouraged to prepare an Expression of Interest (via the Graduate Research Enquiry website) to outline their research experience and their proposal.

The Expression of Interest is not intended to be a final or worked up version of the research you may eventually do. The Expression of Interest is a pre-application assessment process. It is not an application.

Submitting the Expression of Interest does not guarantee a place in a research degree. It is used to help establish whether you are eligible to apply for a research degree in the Melbourne School of Engineering and your possibility of receiving a University Scholarship.

You are advised to review the information about the PhD in Engineering and Research Masters in Engineering before proceeding.

For information about the research currently being conducted in the School please visit Graduate Research Opportunities and search for Supervisors and research areas

Applicants are requested to submit a single Expression of Interest only, unless they are seeking candidature in more than one Faculty.
